Listening back to fresh tracks with Brian Hewson at Escarpment Sound. A fine facility with great rooms, top-notch equipment and a man who really knows how to use it. What could be more fun?!

We had a smooth, inspiring, productive day in the studios of Escarpment Sound on August 24, 2018. Bed tracks were recorded for five new songs with Tom Wolf on drum kit and percussion. Thank you to owner-engineer Brian Hewson for a fine facility and great work. The new album is gaining momentum!

A very well-equipped facility.

Please share this post with your friends from Manitoba to BC and we’ll show them a good time. They can message us through this web site or at our JennisMusic Facebook Page ~ Jen

Still from our new video. Thanks Olya!Wow, what a great season we had with our summer tour leading straight into oodles of gigs in the summer and fall. Survey: We’re writing a grant application and one of the questions we need to answer for the jury is “What do other people say they see in your work?” So if you’ve seen us or enjoyed our album, what does your experience of Jennis say to you? Please help us get the grant by offering your 2 cents in the comment window below! Thank you for taking a few moments to support our Artist Development Grant!

We’ve had a wonderful summer full of outdoor playing opportunities that culminated in the 40th Annual Killaloe Fair on August 6th. We’ve got an equally busy fall lined up, playing all over southern Ontario.

Several new songs are in the works and we’ve been discussing arrangements, creating parts and planning for the preproduction of album #2. Already we’re looking at offers to play house concerts and other fine venues in the spring after Dennis returns from visiting his daughter in Vietnam. It seems everywhere we go and play to a new audience, we make enthusiastic contacts with people offering us attractive gigs for the next time we come to town. This includes some people involved in some of our favourite western-Canada festivals. So things are really rolling for Jennis. We are grateful and excited! Thanks for your support everyone!
